Helping students find employment after completing the course is a priority to PCCTI. We offer Career Development Services to every one of our students. Within the school there is over a 85% rate of placement. PCCTI focuses on four main objectives when aiding a student in the job search. The focus is on Career Counseling, Internships, Externships, and Clinical Experience, Resume Critique, and Job Placement Assistance. PCCTI is committed in assisting the students in reaching their individual employment goals.

Career Counseling and Advising is the initial step in aiding the student to attain their career object. Advisors, Admissions Counselors and Career Services Counselors are here to help the students on their path to achieving their employment goals. Career counseling starts the moment an individual arrives at PCCTI. PCCTI staff is trained to aid the student in making the better career choices by selecting the most suitable courses to achieve their career aspiration. Advisors, Admissions Counselors and Career Services Counselors retrieve the background information and meet with the prospective student one on one to evaluate their educational background in order to help them select the most appropriate course.

Upon the successful completion of the program or course with the G.P.A of 2.0 or above PCCTI students receive support in the various aspects to help them not only be a knowledgeable professional but also a marketable employee. PCCTI provides students with the variety of skills to achieve this. Communication, presentation and rhetoric skills of the student are evaluated and advised where suitable. Students learn how to improve their manner and speech in an interview setting. The Career Services Advisors set up the mock interviews that help to prepare our graduates for the upcoming interviews. Also PCCTI provides assistance with the resumes for our students who have already graduated. Please visit Career Services for more information

Externships and Clinicals are the next step for the PCCTI graduates to find their perfect employment. Admissions and Career Services Counselors work diligently in making affiliations and partnerships with the various hospitals, medical centers, doctor's offices, clinics, and other medical facilities for our students to receive hands-on training.

PCCTI knows how important the work experience is to an employer. Outside work experience is a great way for the students to sharpen their skills and gain experience attainable only in the professional environment of their specific field. Externship serves as the final component of the formal educational process at PCCTI. This experience, following the course, provides a culminating experience for the student entering the specific field.

Externships give the PCCTI students an opportunity to network with the experienced professionals in the field and make valuable contacts that open up more horizons for the successful employment.

PCCTI is committed in assisting the students with the externship after they have graduated with the cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 or higher, however the school does not guarantee the placement in the clinical externships as it is an assistance only. Clinical externship assistance is provided only once to a student with a maximum of 125 hours.

Resume Development and Critique - Cover letters and resumes are the first impression that employers receive. The resume is the first glimpse into the candidate experiences and background.
