Definition & Purpose
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics lists Medical Transcription as one of the ten fastest growing occupations in the U.S. PCCTI`s Medical Transcriptionist (MT) program gives our Students the training needed to get a fast start on their medical industry careers. The MT program prepares our Students for positions as Medical Transcriptionists. The program is also designed to help prepare our Students for the Certified Medical Transcriptionist exam, which enables them to earn a widely recognized industry certification.
As a Medical Transcriptionist, you`ll create the legal documents relied upon by virtually all healthcare professionals including physicians, pharmacists, therapists, nurses, dieticians, chiropractors and others.
