    PCCTI is where I had my studies for the A&P and the LPN programs. It was quite exciting to belong to this great school. The school has such a great staff working together as a team. This wonderful workforce made it so welcoming to everyone who was visiting for the first time and or attending any of it's available programs. The staff at PCCTI are readily available and willing to attend to everyone's need and also to see how they can tender help or seek for help more possible. Coffee was always there to keep everyone warm, awake and alert to carry on with serious but important business.
    There are different programs being planned at PCCTI but I undertook the Nursing program. The school hired very well knowledgeable and experienced teachers to instruct the students. Materials are readily for students to research on which are very helpful if you make use of them. The Proprietor is very very concerned about the school and the student welfare that he constantly orders review question for them to Practice NCLEX PN type questions from the very beginning Instructors do their very best to impact knowledge into the students. NCLEX materials are to student as soon they are available to prepare for the board exams.
    Clinical sites are booked for in advance and through nervous I was, my clinical instructor, a well experienced teacher, was very instrumented to me and the whole student body. We always showed our wonder full experiences in the class.
    Team work is the best thing to do as we formed our study groups and worked endlessly to pass the class. It is also good to cooperate with your instructors as this makes learning easier. The trick to having good greats is by providing adequate time to review the Chapter as they are treated and also study ahead of class if possible. Showing of ideas do expose us to some of our mistakes and help some of us learn from others. I hope to return to PCCTI for RN program should have approve to start on while out of the schools now, I will still recommend candidates for the PCCTI.

    Returning to school as a working full time mother of two beautiful kids and a devoted wife, I was worried that I wouldn't fit in. I found continued support from the administration of PCCTI Oak Brook, encouragement from all of my instructors and a committed sense of inclusion from my course mates that I hadn't anticipated.

I am Muhammad, I worked as a dialysis tech. in different hospitals for almost 4 years, I came across with a lot of techs. of different medical specialties, I needed a transition here, I choose scanning because of its market value, I visited three ultrasound schools in the city and I choose PCCTI, that really paid for me, I graduated from PCCTI, I never missed any class, any lecture or test. Immediately after graduation I started my job search, I was tested for scanning, I got the job, 12$per hr., then 18$/hr, then24$/hr and now ... . I did CCI(RCS,RVS), and then I did, RDMS - RDCS - RVT. I was hired in a hospital without any registry, there were three techs. In the department and none of them were certified or any registry. I think learning is based on lectures, scanning practice and home work. Job market is wonderful; I always see a lot of jobs. While working with other health related techs. If any body requests a transition I never hesitate to refer them to PCCTI, because it worked for me it will work for anybody. I am a former student of PCCTI IT and Healthcare newly working in the field of Echocardiography as a technician in three different clinics. Currently, I do not have my registry and was able to obtain employment within these clinics following my completion of school. I have been working for over two years for this firm. Review class was the greatest work we had for the HESI, I like the way the Instructor went over the stuff that we need to do in the intervention and it is helpful. The book for intervention is best book to prefer for the student to cover for the course. After doing all RN pre-requirements in Joliet Junior College and waiting for three years for nursing program, PCCTI helped me to make my future by opening the doors for us. As a current student in the weekend LPN program, my opinion of the program is extremely satisfied. Although I found myself struggling on some topics in the first half of nursing 101, my instructor and the faculty were so supportive. Always there when I was ready to give up, offering unconditional support and encouragement, and through my own effort, and the help of my teachers i was able to score extremely high on my midterm exam, therefore giving me a new outlook on my ability to master the content of the remaining exams and alive a lot of the stress of continuing on to the HESII, and finishing this program on an excellent note.

I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to say Hello and let you know how my ultrasound career is going. I am still working at the same hospital in Wisconsin (it's been already 8 months) and I truly enjoy this job. I learned so much in such a short time and after 3 months on the job I was already taking call. I scan abdomens, small parts, lots of pelvic, legs, and OB's. I am also involved in biopsies which is still the most stressful for me. I also have to take a machine and go portable to inpatients and ER. I am on call every other night and every other weekend. I would like to notify you that I was offered a job at the Family Medicine clinic in Wauconda as an Echo Technician. PCCTI was my first school I attended when I moved to Chicago. I had a great experience at PCCTI, and this also gave me an idea of continuing my education and hopefully one day becoming a doctor. I wanted to take the time to thank you and share my experience with PCCTI. I was a phlebotomy student at your Oak Brook location. The phlebotomy course was not easy but it was thorough. I had a great instructor and covered the materials very well. Reading and homework are mandatory and necessary. Upon completing the course and receiving my certificate, I attended the Clinical Externship Program orientation. The staff made everything easy from answering my questions and explaining tracking procedures to setting up my clinical externship. As part of my clinical externship, I performed routine vein puncture procedures, prepared lab requests, centrifuged specimens and packaged them for transportation. I would escort patients to the examination rooms and check their height, weight and temperature and help them feel comfortable while they waited for the doctor. I also assisted with other daily office functions, such as: answering the telephone, setting up appointments, updating insurance information, receipting co-pays and filing and any other duties as necessary. It was a great experience working with such competent and busy professionals. I learned a great deal and I felt like I was truly part of the office team. Thank you for providing me with such an excellent opportunity. My entire experience with PCCTI has been very positive. My clinical experience was great. Just having clinical training in a hospital setting was enough on its own. Also I was surrounded by very positive people, and were willing to help and teach me everything about the field. I encountered a lot of hands on scanning on average of 8 to 10 patients a week. I also learned what to do and not to do in the presence of a patient, how to work in an ICU ward, work with a portable machine, learned different protocols to use when scanning. I also learned a lot of information about the hospital setting. Ultrasound is a way that I can give back to people. I'm helping them find out about problems that may be occurring. I really enjoyed my Ultrasound class at PCCTI. The experienced faculty contributed to the simplicity of the class, and allowed me to better understand the concepts of ultrasonic imaging. Also, with plenty of clinical hours available, and the intensive hands-on in-class experience, I acquired the necessary skills to enter the field with professionalism. The facilities are very organized and clean, and the friendly atmosphere made attending PCCTI a very rewarding experience. I was honored and grateful to be a student at PCCTI. I made a decision that would change my life, that decision was to attend PCCTI. I made a commitment to that decision and I have now accomplished that and so has the rest of the class. At the beginning we all were uncertain of what we would be facing I named that week "We only just begun", but as weeks progressed we gained more confidence in ourselves and of our capabilities to learn new skills needed to get a good job. The next week was named climbing the ladder, this would not be possible if we didn`t have the guidance and counsel of our devoted instructor. There were many accomplishments I wish I could tell you about them all. The confidence everyone gained was amazing. We were on the right track, thanks to PCCTI. We were on our own and half way home. PCCTI MCSE Windows 2000/NT4 course was very helpful. The course consisted of comprehensive and "real world" instructions. The course`s training lab was very useful not only to do the Microsoft lab exercises, but to additionally explore and test other relevant "real world" situations that correlate to the Microsoft training material. All the instruction was 100% live and "hands-on". Our instructor was superior in her instructions and "real world" experience as relevant to the Microsoft curriculum. I would highly recommend PCCTI to others for their training needs. Not only is the instruction superb, but also the entire staff is very friendly, helpful and supportive.
